WhatsApp has introduced a new feature today through which you will be able to pay. WhatsApp Payments have been discussed in India for a long time, but it has been officially launched in India today. It is finally launched today after being approved by the National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI). This payment service of WhatsApp was in the queue for a long time to get the rules and approval. The company has been approved since 2018.
- Open WhatsApp and click on the three dots on the top right. There will be an option of Payments in front. (In some phones it can also be found in settings)
- Go to the payment option and select Add new payment method.
- Agree the terms and conditions in it and proceed.
- After this you will be shown a list of banks, choose your bank from it and link the bank account.
- Here, keep in mind that your registered number in the bank is the same as WhatsApp's number. WhatsApp will verify your registered number and ask for permission to send the message.
- Here you will not face any language problem because it supports ten Indian languages.
- In this, just like PhonePe, you have to enter UPI PIN before every payment for security.
